Qualifications

• Ability to read gauges and use precision measuring instruments.

Press Brake Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a reliable, and experienced Press Brake Operator to join a manufacturing team in Charlotte.

Pay Rate

$ 25.00 and up depending on experience

Schedule and Hours

6:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Thursday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes to fabricate custom metal parts according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Program machines directly at the controller including selecting tools, calculating bend deductions/stretch outs and optimizing bend sequences
• Interpret and verify specifications using precision measuring instruments and CAD drawings.
• Perform complex forming techniques including bump forming and rolling to achieve specific contours and radii.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with engineers and other fabricators
• Follow Safety Protocols and contribute to a safe work environment

Qualifications and Requirements

• 10+ years of experience operating and programming CNC press brakes in a custom fabrication setting.
• Proven ability to calculate stretch outs and read complex fabrication blueprints.
• Hands‑on experience with bump forming and rolling techniques.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal properties, tolerances, and bend allowances.
• Familiarity with multiple gauge metals and a variety of fabrication tools and machines.
• L 500lbs (in office assessment will be conducted)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
