Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Press Brake Operator for our Charlotte team. The role involves setting up and operating CNC press brakes, programming at the controller, and ensuring parts meet blueprints and tolerances.

Qualifications

10+ years of CNC press brake operation and programming experience.
Ability to calculate stretch outs and read complex fabrication blueprints.
Experience with bump forming and rolling techniques.
Strong understanding of sheet metal properties, tolerances, and bend allowances.
Ability to read gauges and use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brakes to fabricate parts per blueprints and work orders.
Program machines at the controller, select tools, and optimize bend sequences.
Interpret specifications using CAD drawings and measuring instruments.
Perform complex forming techniques including bump forming and rolling.
Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.
Collaborate with engineers and fabricators.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
