Arandell is hiring a Press Assistant for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in the pressroom and growth within the company. The pay rate starts at $20.50 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

You will assist with setup, material handling, and quality checks while supporting a climate-controlled facility and a team-focused environment. Weekend availability is needed on occasion.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a ruler.
• Perform basic math calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate press equipment.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Ability to read, write and communicate.

Responsibilities

• Set up semi-automatic and automatic equipment for stocking press products on skids.
• Remove printed materials, stack bundles on skids, move loads to staging area.
• Perform press duties: webbing up, ink changes, hang plates, change/clean blankets, clean spills.
• Maintain housekeeping in press area.
• Mount blankets, plates, and rolls.
• Maintain daily supply of rags and chemicals; keep sponge buckets clean.
• Perform quality checks of printed materials.
• Maintain positive relations with visitors, customers, and employees.

Arandell is looking for a Press Assistant to join our team, offering a clear path for growth and development. This entry-level role is the perfect way to gain hands‑on experience and build a foundation in our Pressroom department. You'll play a key part in the production process, assisting with essential tasks like jogging and piling loads while ensuring we produce a high-quality product.

Join us on our 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM, and start your journey with a pay rate of $20.50 per hour.

What You’ll Do On The A-team

• Sets up semi‑automatic and automatic equipment that assists in stocking press products on skids.
• Remove printed materials from the press, stack bundles onto skids, and move loads to the staging area.
• Perform press duties such as webbing up the press, changing ink, hanging plates, changing and cleaning blankets, and cleaning up ink, oil, or water spills.
• Maintain good housekeeping in press area.
• Mount blankets, plates, and rolls.
• Maintain daily supply of rags and chemicals, ensuring sponge buckets remain clean.
• Perform quality checks of printed materials.
• Maintain a positive customer relations approach towards visitors, customers, and employees.
