Job summary

Arvato Direct Services Potsdam GmbH is seeking a skilled operator to tend mail inserting machinery, prepare setups, and maintain USPS presort mailings. You will monitor processes, ensure safety, and support maintenance routines in a production environment.

The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and a basic understanding of equipment maintenance, with at least 1 year of related experience. Benefits include comprehensive insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Operation monitoring and control precision.
• Understanding of general machine procedures and safety awareness.
• Maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting of equipment.
• General understanding of USPS postal requirements for presort mail.

Responsibilities

• Performs and verifies own machine setups prior to manufacturing.
• Maintains integrity and organization of USPS presort mailings of First Class Letters/Flats; Marketing Mail Letter/Flats for Permit Imprint and Metered mail.
• Controlling machine and processes
• Monitors safety practices
• Trains new and less experienced operators
• Completes required daily maintenance paperwork
• Reports machine and equipment malfunction to supervisor or mechanics
