Job summary

Arvato in Louisville, KY is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance & Logistics Engineering Manager to lead proactive maintenance while driving efficiency across our facility. You will oversee maintenance, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and support scalable operations.

Collaborating with Operations, IT, Safety, and CI teams, you will develop budgets, manage vendors, and ensure OSHA compliance while guiding a team of engineers and technicians

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years in facilities/engineering/logistics leadership.
• Experience with conveyors, automation, robotics, WCS, and PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance projects for machinery and equipment.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to maximize reliability.
• Oversee facility repairs and vendor contracts.
• Design and optimize warehouse layouts and workflows.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, robotics, and automation systems.
• Collaborate with IT and automation vendors.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
