Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Inbound Clerk to coordinate and manage Domestic and International loads, ensuring smooth yard management and accurate documentation. The role requires proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and clear communication with clients, carriers, and third-party vendors to meet service level agreements.

The position involves tracking shipments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution center or manufacturing environments is preferred
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to work independently, be punctual and dependable
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and variable shifts as required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule domestic and international loads
• Manage yard workflow for container and trailer logs
• Maintain open communication with clients, carriers and vendors
• Track shipments and report discrepancies to the service delivery team
• Ensure proper filing of proofs of delivery and related documents
• Follow bill of lading procedures and maintain organized records
• Handle issue resolution, including shortages, overages and damages
• Support receiving workflows per service level agreements
• Assist with office supplies and department needs
• Adhere to safety and quality guidelines
