Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Levittown, PA is hiring for a Direct Hire Full Time Presort Associate 1. Earn $15.50 per hour with a $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd shift. You will be trained to prepare mail, review barcodes, troubleshoot jams, and ensure quality and on-time processing.

Strong reliability, good communication, and physical stamina are required to handle up to 50 lbs and long standing periods. Training and benefits provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail by reviewing date, postage, and barcodes before production.
• Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machine.
• Monitor the quality of mail/packages prior to processing and before dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and bin/tray relationships on machines.
• Follow QMS practices to ensure quality by double checking date, weight, barcodes, postage, and mail class.
• Ensure sorter equipment is running properly and assist with inbound/outbound processing.
• Remain informed of acceptance times and truck departure schedules to meet SLAs.
• Promote a clean work area and safety; perform additional duties as required.
