Pitney Bowes is hiring for a Presort Associate 1 at our Romulus, MI facility. The role offers a base pay of $16 per hour, with a $1.50 per hour shift premium for second shift.

This Direct Hire, full-time position involves preparing outgoing mail, reviewing postage and barcodes, and ensuring quality prior to production. You will be trained to troubleshoot jams, monitor mail quality, follow USPS labeling rules, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Experience with pre-sort mailing is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Good organizational skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet.

Mansioni

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail with correct date, postage, and barcodes.
• Identify and communicate barcode errors and misreads.
• Troubleshoot jams and keep equipment running.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS label requirements and bin/tray mapping.
• Follow Quality Management Systems for accuracy.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and meet SLAs.
