Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services seeks a Presort Associate 2 in Hartford, CT for a first-shift, full-time role. You will prepare mail, review dates, check barcodes, and ensure quality while meeting SLAs and safety standards.

Candidates should be dependable with strong communication and organization skills; ability to lift 50 lbs and stand most of the shift; willingness to overtime; prior PB experience is a plus; benefits include PTO, health plans, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• Dependable and reliable work ethic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand English for safety and operational directions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand ~80% of the shift.
• Overtime may be required, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing mail with correct date, postage, and barcodes.
• Communicate and correct errors and bad barcodes.
• Troubleshoot jams and ensure sorter equipment runs properly.
• Monitor mail quality and prepare mail to meet SLAs.
• Follow USPS labeling, stacking, and preparation requirements.
• Assist with inbound/outbound processing of mail and packages.
• Promote a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety rules.
