Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Orlando, FL is hiring a Presort Associate 1 for 1st shift. You will prepare outgoing mail, verify barcodes, and monitor quality while following safety and QMS procedures. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, overtime, and potential shift changes.

Qualifications

• Dependable and reliable work ethic.
• Knowledge of pre-sort mailing is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand/walk most of the shift.
• Must work overtime and possibly different shifts with limited notice.
• Current Pitney Bowes experience as a Warehouse Mail Sorter is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail with correct date, postage, and barcodes.
• Communicate errors and identify bad barcodes in mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot and remove mail jams from sorting equipment.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels, bin numbers, and tray numbering; follow QMS practices.
• Ensure equipment is running properly and assist with inbound/outbound processing.
• Adhere to acceptance times and SLA requirements; maintain a clean work area.
• Perform additional duties as required.
