Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead at a Washington state child care center. The role blends teaching, leadership, and family communication to help children grow as lifelong learners.

You will manage classrooms, mentor staff, and support curriculum implementation, with opportunities to step in as Director or Assistant Director when needed while ensuring compliance with licensing and company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children and lead classroom management and curriculum.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement.
• Mentor and assist with training and onboarding of new hires.
• Occasionally assume Director or Assistant Director duties when needed, including opening/closing the center.
• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care.
