Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to foster growth, lead classroom management and implement the curriculum, with instructional time comprising at least 50% of the week.

You will communicate with families, mentor new hires, and support ongoing staff development while ensuring safety and licensing compliance. This role may involve stepping into Director duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement and center success.
• Mentor and assist with training of new hires and fellow Teachers to create engaging learning experiences.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening/closing the school.
