Cadence Education in Richmond, VA is seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher who supports daily classroom operations and Cadence Education programs. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing environment and contribute to children’s physical, social, and cognitive development while ensuring licensing compliance.

Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you’ll support curriculum delivery, build positive relationships with children and families, and participate in ongoing professional

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity and care.
• Greet families daily and establish professional relationships.
• Support developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Assist in planning and implementing activities under Lead Teacher guidance.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision policies and document incidents.
• Assist in behavior management per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to Employee Handbook policies and procedures.
• Participate in required trainings and meetings, possibly outside normal hours.
