Cadence Education is seeking a Teacher - Support Staff in Richmond, VA. The role supports daily classroom operations, maintains a safe, nurturing environment, and helps deliver Cadence Education programs to young children.

Responsibilities include welcoming families, addressing diverse developmental needs, and assisting in curriculum delivery while ensuring licensing compliance. A rewarding role with growth and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in licensed childcare.
• Background clearances and health screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families and build welcoming relationships.
• Address individual developmental and learning needs, following IEPs where applicable.
• Assist Lead Teacher with curriculum planning and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in behavior management per Cadence policies.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
