Job summary

Cadence Education in Tucson, AZ is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations, deliver Cadence Signature Programs, and help nurture children's physical, social, emotional, and behavioral development, including those with IEPs.

Under the guidance of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will maintain classroom routines, support curriculum delivery, foster positive relationships with children and families, and ensure safety and licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to consistently follow safety procedures and policies.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment for children.
• Greet children and families and establish welcoming relationships.
• Follow IEPs and behavioral support plans as directed.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Follow Safety and Supervision Manual; document accidents/incidents.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to Employee Handbook policies and procedures.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
