Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Preschool Teacher to assist with a high-quality early care program that meets Delacare requirements. Under the Child Care Director's supervision, you will help implement the curriculum and develop learning goals with families.

Responsibilities include observing children, planning developmentally appropriate activities, coordinating with staff, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Early Childhood Administrator certification.
• Must be 20 years or older and able to drive 8-passenger van.
• Background checks including FBI and state registries are required.

Responsibilities

• Support development and operation of a quality early care program.
• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum using foundations.
• Develop individualized learning goals with families.
• Include all children using diverse learning and guidance strategies.
• Communicate objectives and plan activities for learning and play.
