Job summary

South Central Mental Health Counseling Center (SCMH) is seeking a Full Time Case Manager/Preschool Teacher for the El Dorado Early Intervention Center. The role focuses on supporting preschool children aged 3 to 6 with emotional and behavioral needs within a classroom setting, coordinating with families and clinical staff.

The position emphasizes building relationships, delivering targeted case management, and contributing to the child’s overall development and community integration.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent qualifying experience in human services or education.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work with persons with serious emotional disturbances.
• Criminal background and driver’s license check required to SCMH.

Responsibilities

• Develop continuous supportive relationships with identified clients and families.
• Assist with targeted case management duties as needed.
• Maintain contact with clients and families for scheduled appointments between 7am–4pm.
• Update client goals and services in the treatment plan with clinical oversight.
