Job summary

South Central Mental Health Counseling CTR in Andover, KS, is seeking a full-time Case Manager/Preschool Teacher for the Early Intervention Center. This role supports children aged 3 to 6 with emotional or behavioral needs within a preschool setting, building relationships with families and coordinating with therapists.

Responsibilities include maintaining progress notes, scheduling appointments (7 am–4 pm), collaborating with the treatment team, and advocating for families.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals in various human services settings.
• Ability to react effectively in diverse situations and maintain professional boundaries.
• Pass criminal background and driver’s license checks as required by SCMH.

Responsibilities

• Develop continuous supportive relationships with identified clients and families.
• Assist with targeted case management duties as needed.
• Be in contact with designated clients and families for regularly scheduled appointments (7 am–4 pm).
• Maintain client contacts in natural environments based on needs.
• Support clients in learning healthier methods to manage mental health needs.
• Follow clinical supervisor's guidance on intervention strategies.
• Update treatment goals and services with oversight from the therapist.
