Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant in Raleigh, NC. You will support daily classroom activities, help implement Cadence programs, and nurture a safe, engaging learning environment for young children, including those with IEPs.

Must be able to greet families, work with a team, and follow safety and licensing guidelines. CDA is a plus; state requirements must be met. This role offers full-time hours and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum state requirements for a Teacher Assistant.
• Prior early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• CDA preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily; build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence signatures.
• Follow safety protocols and document incidents as required.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using approved tools.
• Support behavior management according to Cadence procedures.
