Cadence Education in Andover, MN, is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities under supervision of lead staff. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment and assist with Cadence Education programs to meet children’s developmental needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow childcare guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment, ensuring each child is treated with care and respect.
• Greet children and families daily and help build professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Support in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and document accidents per policy.
• Assist with managing and reporting escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as required.
