Job summary

Cadence Education in Minnesota is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities and implement Cadence Education programs. You’ll help maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports young children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs, including those with IEPs.

Under the supervision of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you’ll greet families, follow licensing rules, and collaborate with staff to deliver

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for Teacher Assistant
• Prior early childhood or classroom experience preferred
• Read, write, and speak English effectively

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships
• Follow IEPs and behavior plans as directed
• Support developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership
• Follow the Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents
• Manage and report escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures
• Adhere to Cadence Education policies in the Employee Handbook
• Attend required meetings and trainings, possibly outside regular hours
