Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities and Cadence Signature Programs. You will greet families, assist with individualized development plans, and help maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment for children, including those with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, subject to state licensing requirements.
• Must meet minimum experience and education requirements for the state of employment.
• Prior early childhood or classroom experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily classroom activities and Cadence Education programs.
• Greet children and families and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental and behavioral needs, including IEPs.
• Support classroom staff with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents as required.
• Assist with managing, documenting, and reporting escalated child behaviors.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development, which may occur outside of regular hours.
