Job summary

Community Development Institute Head Start is seeking a Preschool Teacher to educate, care for, and inspire young children using diverse teaching methods. The role requires patience, energy, and a commitment to child development within Head Start guidelines.

Minimum qualifications include an associate or baccalaureate degree in child development or early childhood education, with the ability to obtain the degree if currently enrolled. State licensing requirements must be met.

Teacher Preschool $21.00 on Waiver $21.50 AA ECE $22.00 BA ECE

Our vibrant Head Start Preschool Teachers educate, care for, and inspire the young minds at our Head Start, using a variety of teaching methods. If you are a teacher who has patience, compassion, and energy to help children succeed, As a minimum requirement, applicant must have an associate or baccalaureate degree in child development or early childhood education, or equivalent coursework. Applicant may also be enrolled in an associate or baccalaureate degree program in early childhood education, or related field and must be able to obtain the degree within a reasonable timeframe after the initial date of hire. Applicant must meet state licensing requirements.
