White Birch Center in Henniker, NH, is hiring a full-time Early Childhood Teacher for ages 2.5 to 5 years. You will join a collaborative team to create a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment and engage families in ongoing communication.

Responsibilities include planning activities, supporting holistic development, and ensuring NH licensing compliance within the center's policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 9 ECE college credits or 1000 hours in a licensed center.
• Minimum of one year of experience in early childhood.
• Ability to pass NH background checks.

What You'll Do

• Support each child’s individual social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about child progress
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality care and education
• Maintain compliance with NH Child Care Licensing regulations and center policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 9 Early Childhood Education college credits from a regionally accredited college or university OR at least 3 credits in child growth and development and documentation of 1000 hours working within a Licensed Early Childhood Center.
• Minimum of one year's experience working with children in an early childhood environment.
• Must be able to successfully pass an NH Criminal Background Check and a DCYF Central Registry Check.
• This position requires individuals to have availability to work 8 hour shifts within the center's operating hours of 7:30AM to 5:00PM.
