Summary

Lead Pre‑Kindergarten Teacher with expertise in creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Duties
  • Curriculum Coordination: Develop and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities aligned with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, promoting teaching team success through modeling best practices, coaching, and mentoring staff.
  • Lesson Planning & Instruction: Plan and execute individual and group activities that actively engage children and support social, cognitive, and emotional development.
  • Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents via informal discussions, progress reports, and parent‑teacher conferences to support student growth.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure all center policies and state regulations are consistently met.
  • Classroom Environment: Maintain a healthy, safe, and secure classroom, ensuring hygiene and cleanliness standards are upheld.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure adherence to planned activities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation, forms, and student records in compliance with center and state requirements.
  • Professional Development: Pursue ongoing professional growth through a personal development plan to continually enhance teaching quality and classroom outcomes.
Requirements
