The Learning Experience in Canton, MI is seeking an energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to guide a classroom of young learners toward strong early academic skills and confidence. You will lead daily routines, plan engaging activities, and work closely with Assistant Teachers and center leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in preschool, daycare, or licensed childcare settings.
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred.
• CDA, Associate's, Bachelor's, or Early Childhood coursework strongly preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements for the position.

• Maintain a structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Guide and support Assistant Teachers within the classroom.
• Observe children's development and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain required classroom records and documentation.
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Preschool Lead Teacher – Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience – Canton, MI

Pay: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Canton is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher to lead a classroom of young learners as they build the confidence, independence, and early academic skills they need for kindergarten and beyond.

We're looking for an educator who is comfortable taking ownership of a classroom, creating engaging learning experiences, and working collaboratively with Assistant Teachers and center leadership.
