The Learning Experience - Beltline in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Preschool Lead Teacher to guide a classroom and bring our LEAP Curriculum to life through hands-on activities. You will foster curiosity, confidence, creativity, and independence in young learners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in preschool or early childhood settings required.
• Preschool teaching experience strongly preferred.
• CDA or ECE credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement The Learning Experience's LEAP Curriculum.
• Support literacy, math, science, language, creativity, and social-emotional development.

Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience - Beltline is seeking an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who can create an engaging environment where children strengthen their academic skills, confidence, creativity, and independence.

You'll have the opportunity to lead your classroom while bringing our curriculum to life through hands-on experiences and meaningful interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily learning experience in the Preschool classroom
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Support early literacy, math, science, language, creativity, and social-emotional development
• Create engaging hands-on learning opportunities
• Encourage problem-solving, independence, communication, and collaboration
• Use positive guidance and effective classroom management
• Observe and document children's developmental progress
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
• Develop strong partnerships with families
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
• Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous professional preschool, childcare, or early childhood classroom experience required
• Preschool teaching experience strongly preferred
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred
• Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver
• Strong classroom leadership, communication, and organizational skills
