Job summary

The Learning Experience in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Preschool Lead Teacher to guide a classroom under the LEAP curriculum, fostering curiosity and skill-building.

You will lead daily activities, support early literacy and math, and partner with families to promote each child's growth in a licensed, safe setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous professional preschool/early childhood experience required.
• Preschool teaching experience strongly preferred.
• CDA or ECE coursework/degree preferred.
• Must meet Michigan Lead Caregiver requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily learning experience in the Preschool classroom.
• Implement The Learning Experience's LEAP Curriculum.
• Support early literacy, math, science, language, creativity, and social-emotional development.
• Create engaging hands-on learning opportunities.
• Encourage problem-solving, independence, communication, and collaboration.
• Use positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress.
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Develop strong partnerships with families.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom.
• Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience - Beltline is seeking an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who can create an engaging environment where children strengthen their academic skills, confidence, creativity, and independence.

You'll have the opportunity to lead your classroom while bringing our curriculum to life through hands-on experiences and meaningful interactions.
