ServingSchools is hiring Preschool Support Teachers for the 2026/2027 school year in Bangor and Brewer. Positions include part-time and full-time roles working with children ages 2-5 in general education and special education settings.

Qualifications

• Must have high school education or equivalent.
• 90 credit hours preferred.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid/BBP certifications within 60 days of hire (provided).
• Must obtain Safety Care certification within 30 days of hire (provided).
• Must obtain BHP certification within 12 months of hire (provided).
• Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.

Come join our teaching team and help support students in general education and special education classrooms! Preschool support teachers play with children ages 2-5 while modeling communication, social, and academic skills. The Preschool Support Teacher also maintains accurate documentation and records, and implements the philosophy, policies and procedures of the organization. Part-time and full-time positions available with hours ranging from 7:30-4:30 or 9-3.
