The Bangor Region YMCA is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to guide a classroom with two support staff, implementing Creative Curriculum Gold and partnering with curriculum specialists and management.

You will foster a joyful, inclusive learning environment and help shape each child’s early development in a collaborative, supportive team setting.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Child Development, Education or related field required.
• MRTQ training completed or within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in an early education setting.

What We're Looking

Our Early Childhood Eduction Team is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher who: Motivates and inspires little minds to explore and learn. Celebrates diversity and creates an environment filled with excitement and joy! Is excited to cultivate each child's unique potential. Our children can't wait to meet someone like YOU!

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Child Development, Education or related field.
• Completion of Maine Early Learning Guidelines Training through the Maine Roads to Quallity (MRTQ) Professional Development Network within 90 days of hire.
• Prior experience working with children in an early educationan setting.

Job Details

• Status: Full-time.
• Pay: $20-22 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift)
• Location: In-person.
