Mill Stream Elementary School seeks an Educational Technician I to support a preschool student with developmental disabilities. The role involves one-on-one assistance in a KVCAP preschool setting, mobility support, and implementing health plans under a certified teacher’s guidance. Qualifications include Maine Ed Tech I Certification and a clean background check.

CNA experience is preferred. Pay ranges $18.88–$20.67 per hour in Skowhegan, ME, with opportunities for collaboration with families

Competenze

Obtain and maintain authorization as an Educational Technician I with the Maine Department of Education.
Successful background, criminal history check, fingerprinting and references.

Mansioni

Provide one-on-one support for the student throughout the school day.
Assist with mobility, positioning, transitions and equipment within the school environment.
Support toileting, hygiene, and other personal care needs with dignity and respect.
Follow the student’s individualized educational, health and safety plans.
Assist the student in participating in classroom activities and field trips.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, nurses and families to support student success.
Monitor and report health, safety or behavioral concerns to staff.
Promote independence, inclusion and positive peer interactions.
