Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education required.
• Background in early childhood development and developmental disabilities.
• Experience teaching pre-kindergarten children with developmental delays preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction aligned to MCPS pre-kindergarten outcomes.
• Consult with staff, coordinators, and parents on strategies and accommodations.
• Administer, interpret, analyze data and write educational assessment reports.
• Establish effective classroom management routines and behavior intervention plans.
