Job summary

LARPD is seeking a Pre School Coordinator to plan and direct preschool curriculum, supervise staff, and coordinate enrollment, with up to 70% classroom time. This part-time benefited position requires an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or 24 units, plus two years of lead or supervisory experience in a childcare setting.

The role involves collaboration with the Youth Services Manager and Child Development Supervisor to ensure safety, standards, and engaging early learning

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or 24 units in Early Childhood Education.
• Two years of lead and/or supervisory experience in a childcare program with required courses completed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, lead curriculum for preschool participants.
• Oversee day-to-day preschool operations including scheduling, staffing, and safety.
• Provide supervision and training for site staff and coordinate with supervisors.
• Coordinate enrollment, scheduling, and tuition/fee management.
• Maintain relationships with parents, volunteers, teachers, and staff.
• Collaborate on curriculum development and program goals with Youth Services.
