Child Care Resources Inc is seeking a seasoned Lead Teacher to lead our classroom, implement the Creative Curriculum, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for young learners. You will mentor teacher assistants, coordinate with families, and maintain open communication while upholding center policies and state regulations.

A strong understanding of child development and leadership skills are essential. This full-time position offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team culture

Qualifications

• Background check, fingerprinting, and health screening required.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to be trained).
• Ability to work well with staff, children and parents to foster a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; basic computer literacy.
• High energy and strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience; training may be provided.

• Develop and implement classroom activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum and early learning standards.
• Model and coach teaching team members to promote collaboration and support.
• Plan engaging activities for individual and group needs to foster growth.
• Establish open lines of communication with parents through updates and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations; maintain a safe classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate records, files, and forms following administrative best practices.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in childcare.
