Job summary

Vertex Education is seeking a Preschool Designee to provide a caring, safe, well-managed environment for Pre-K students. You will communicate with staff and parents, adapt daily activities, and assist with lesson plans under the guidance of the Community Education Site Coordinator.

You will help with lunchtime supervision, maintain cleanliness, and support students in reaching early learning goals. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, at least 12 months of childcare experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 12 months of childcare experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Food Handler's Card required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Must pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Pre-K staff and parents about the program.
• Cover duties of the Community Education Site Coordinator in their absence.
• Assist with daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Supervise students during lunch and transitions.
• Maintain clean, organized learning spaces and records.
