The position requires 21+ years old, a High School Diploma or GED, 12 months of childcare experience, and necessary certifications; strong communication with families is essential.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old.
• 12 months of childcare experience.
• Food Handler’s Card/Certification.
• IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (background check).
• CPR/First Aid Certified.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicates with Pre-K staff and parents about program details.
• Covers daily duties of Community Education Site Coordinator in their absence.
• Maintain 13:1 or 15:1 child:staff ratio in Pre-Kindergarten.
• Assist with development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum.
• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom records.
