Job summary

Leman Academy of Excellence is seeking a part-time Teacher - Instructional Assistant to support teachers and scholars across Marana, Oro Valley, East, and Central Campuses. The role focuses on implementing the classical education model, supervising students, and preparing instructional materials.

The position reports to the Classroom Teacher and site directors. Requires a high school diploma or GED, clear background check, and First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or background clearance required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Food Handler's Card required.
• Willingness to learn the classical education model.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom learning environment and enforce behavior guidelines.
• Prepare instructional materials based on the classical model.
• Provide instructional support to scholars using various teaching methods.
• Supervise scholars during drop-off, lunch, and pick-up with a safety-first mindset.
• Read books to classes or groups; assist with assessments as directed.
• Maintain scholar records and support data-driven instruction.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organized classroom and school environment.
