Job summary

Leman Academy of Excellence Inc is seeking an Exceptional Scholar Services Teacher for the Marana Campus for the 2026/2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing scholars using a classical model of education, participating in continuous professional development, and collaborating with grade level teams for instructional planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and passing scores on Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessments.
• One year of demonstrated teaching experience or equivalent training.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card / Background and Criminal History Clearance.
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Willingness to learn Classical educational methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create daily lesson plans based on classical education models.
• Observe and evaluate scholars' academic performance and behavior.
• Communicate with parents and guardians about children's progress.
• Prepare and analyze assessments to monitor student achievement.

Skills

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Proven leadership ability promoting collaborative decision making

Working knowledge of pedagogy and instructional methodology

Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders

Strong commitment to health and safety principles

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field

Current Arizona or other state Teaching Certificate
