Job summary

Applitrack seeks an Education Assistant for Early Adventures at FAIR Pilgrim Lane Elementary School in Minnesota. The role is 32.5 hours per week for 42 weeks per year, with summer work optional. Starting pay is $21.92 per hour plus benefits based on the current Education Assistant contract, plus a $2,000 hiring bonus if qualified.

The position supports the preschool component of the day, working closely with teachers to implement daily plans and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-age children.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 12-24 credits in education/child development from an accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support children with needs while maintaining classroom ratios and activities.
• Collaborate with staff to provide individualized attention.
• Assist in implementing student success plans and behavior strategies.
• Monitor progress and provide input on student development.
• Promote positive social-emotional growth through nurturing, play-based interaction.
• Support daily routines, classroom management, and transitions.
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment aligned with center standards.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues about student needs.
