Responsibilities

• Assist and support teachers in planning, preparation and presentation of curriculum.
• Assist in daily classroom preparations including planning, set-up and clean-up of children's learning environment.
• Foster a positive environment to support academic, social and emotional development.
• Engage with children and maintain positive relationships in the classroom.
• Support teachers with records, data collection and classroom systems.
• Ensure health and safety by following program expectations and standards.
• Assist with supervision of children according to program guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff and respect family diversity.
• Attend staff development and meetings.
