Job summary

Allegheny Intermediate Unit is seeking a qualified professional to coordinate intake and service delivery for Preschool Early Intervention. You will monitor referrals, assign PEI staff, and ensure timely access to supports while complying with regulations.

The role requires PDE certification, a Master’s in a related field (preferred), and at least 3 years in special education or early intervention. Travel across the county/state is required, with collaboration to provide PD and drive student

Qualifications

• Current Act 114, Act 34, Act 151 and NSOR clearances required before offer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake process and monitor referrals and staff assignments to support mandated Child Find regulations.
• Collaborate with administrators to plan professional development and ensure staff are up to date with laws and best practices.
• Represent AIU in educational planning meetings and promote Preschool Early Intervention with stakeholders.
