Job summary

The Salvation Army in Naples, FL is seeking a Center Director to oversee daily operations of the Child Development Center and ensure compliance with licensing and school policies. You will lead staff, plan curriculum, and manage day-to-day activities in a 40-hour work week.

A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is required, with at least three years of progressive teaching experience and two years in a supervisory capacity; valid CMS/credentials and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum three years of progressive early childhood teaching experience with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor day-to-day operations of the Child Development Center.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, train, and assess staff; provide feedback and coaching.
• Plan and monitor curriculum content with guidance to class workers.
