Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a Classroom Assistant II-ELRA Preschool to support daily routines and developmentally appropriate activities for young children. The role is full-time, on-site in Camden, with supervision from the Program Manager and a focus on safe, nurturing learning experiences.

The position requires a high school diploma, CDA credential, and readiness to complete background checks and training. It is grant-funded and located in the ELRA program area.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• CDA credential required; associates degree preferred.
• Experience in preschool/early childhood setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation of the Infant/Toddler classroom.
• Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, structured learning environment.
• Follow instructional plans and daily schedules under supervision of Program Manager.
• Promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical development.
