Job summary

Cadence Education in McKinney, TX is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities under the guidance of the School Director and leadership. The role ensures a safe, nurturing environment for children, including those with IEPs, while upholding licensing compliance and Cadence programs.

You will collaborate with teachers, greet families, and assist with developmentally appropriate curricula, while participating in meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• State licensing requirements may supersede degree if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families and build professional relationships.
• Assist in addressing individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs per IEPs and plans.
• Help implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate with families and staff using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in documenting and addressing escalated behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Follow Employee Handbook policies and participate in meetings and trainings.
