Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Must enjoy and respect young children and their families.
• Comfortable working with computers, willing and able to learn program specific systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff with daily activities and classroom management.
• Help establish positive relationships with parents and maintain professional boundaries.
• Know medical conditions/needs of the children and respond appropriately to allergies.
• Communicate with parents with the classroom team to provide consistent messages.
• Take on additional duties as requested by classroom staff or center leadership.
• Supervise children and maintain a safe, clean environment throughout the day.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and ensure weather-appropriate dress for activities.
• Assist in providing First Aid/CPR when trained and needed.
