Job summary

The Learning Experience in Houston, TX seeks a Preschool Center Director to lead a dynamic early-education team. You will ensure high-quality programming, compliance with state licensing, and a welcoming environment for families.

Lead by example, recruit and coach staff, manage center operations, and drive enrollment while delivering our proprietary curriculum. This role rewards experienced educators with growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred).
• State-specific Administrative or Director credential.
• Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, foster trust, inclusivity, and connection with diverse groups.
• Ensure the center meets health, safety, and licensing requirements.
• Recruit, train, coach, and engage with current and prospective staff.
• Guide teachers in applying the curriculum and engaging learning experiences.
• Drive enrollment, retention, and handle payroll and monthly P&L reports.
• Coordinate community tours and local marketing events to raise awareness.
