Job summary

DAEOC is hiring bus drivers to transport pre-school students to Head Start locations. You will ensure a safe, clean environment during transit and maintain bus security, while performing basic checks to keep the vehicle in good repair. FT positions may include custodial duties at the center.

Candidates should have a CDL (Class A or B) with passenger endorsement, be at least 25, and bring proof of degree if interviewed. Equal opportunity employer under state and federal law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CDL (Class A or B) with passenger endorsement required; Missouri license; must be at least 25 years old.

Responsibilities

• Transport pre-school students to Head Start locations.
• Maintain a safe, clean and healthful environment during transit.
• Ensure security and safe operation of the bus; perform basic mechanical checks.
• Additional custodial assistance in the center may be required for FT employees.
