Job summary

Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation is seeking bus drivers to transport preschool students to Head Start locations. You will be responsible for safe transport and maintaining a clean, healthful environment for children and staff.

An ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3–6 months of related experience or training, and a valid CDL with passenger endorsement in Missouri. Proof of degree may be requested during interview.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsement and Missouri license required.

Responsibilities

• Transport preschool students to Head Start locations.
• Maintain a safe, clean and healthful environment while transporting children and staff.
• Ensure the bus is secure and mechanically maintained at all times.

Job description

DAEOC is looking for passionate and responsible bus drivers to transport pre-school students to our area Head Start locations. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and healthful environment while transporting children and staff. Responsible for ensuring the security of the bus and that the bus is safe and mechanically maintained at all times.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have a CDL (class A or B) drivers' license valid in the state of Missouri with passenger endorsement. Must be at least 25 years old (per requirements of insurance company).
