We are currently looking for a Preschool Assistant Teacher to fill a vacant position in Steele, Alabama
The basic functions of this position include supporting children’s school readiness by providing a safe, culturally and linguistically responsive, and developmentally appropriate Head Start classroom environment. Position follows ECMHSP service plans, Family Engagement practices, and supports the implementation of ECMHSP Program Goals and Objectives.
Requirements:
Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or state equivalency or enrolled in an associate/bachelor’s degree program or enrolled in a CDA credential or state equivalency program to be completed within two years of the time hire in the position.
Experience working with Latino community, knowledge of the Latino migrant farmworker culture/lifestyle. Head Start experience preferred.
Starting pay: $15.00-$18.00
