Motorola Solutions in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Presales System Engineer Intern to work with our communications engineers and design radio solutions that meet customer requirements. You will participate from concept through implementation under senior mentorship.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, product development, and project management, with duties spanning site planning, frequency analysis, and proposal presentations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with expected graduation on/after Dec 2027.
• Returning to school Fall 2027.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; sponsorship not provided.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated and able to stay focused in a pressured environment.
• Experience working with customers is desirable.
• Knowledge in radio systems, RF/wireless/microwave and/or networking desirable.
• Experience/Knowledge of networks (MPLS, Ethernet, TCP/IP) desirable.
• Certifications CCNA, CompTIA, or HAM desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop technical strategies and generate proposals with sales and product teams.
• Coordinate with design and planning of customer solutions and provide pre-sales support.
• Cover site selection, frequency planning, interference analysis, and system design.
• Support implementation of solutions as originally conceived.
• Own all technical aspects from award to system acceptance.
• Plan implementation, conduct acceptance testing and coverage testing.
• Keep sales and customers updated on Motorola's latest offerings.
